Holiday Hoops 2004
HoopologyU
announced today the results of the Holiday Hoops Basketball Clinic,
which benefited the Shakopee Boy's Basketball Association. During
the Shakopee holiday break last month, HoopologyU hosted the first
annual Holiday Hoops basketball clinic. Over 70 school-aged boys
enjoyed 2-3 hours of valuable instruction from the HoopologyU coaching
staff. All proceeds of the event went to benefit the Shakopee Boy's
Basketball Association.
"The
kids had a great time, plus we earned over $700 for the Boy's Association.
We sincerely appreciate the Association providing the facility space
and for handing out the Holiday Hoops brochures. We were extremely
pleased by the turnout" said Bryan Blascziek, co-owner of HoopologyU.
"The feedback that we received from the student athletes and
parents was very positive."
Bob
and Judy Techam, of the Shakopee Boy's Basketball Association, thanked
HoopologyU for the donation and shared appreciation for Blascziek's
involvement in the program.
